BIOGRAPHY
Gilles Coupet first approaches theater studying scenography, but he immediately finds himself drawn into the "organic" process of acting and later, the dance. His natural curiosity led him to discover new horizons and to meet several teachers in various fields such as scenography, theater, contemporary dance, singing, traditional Japanese theater (Noh and kabuki), Spanish dance and flamenco. As a result, aside from his work as a performer in various companies, from the start of his theatrical career, and cyclically over the years, he creates his own experimental works in his search for an expressive, plastic and suggestive theater language. |
